Once you are ready to start scanning the document click on the 'Scan' button in the Scanning Wizard. At this point the Scanning Wizard will start your existing scanner software.
When the scanning software has started make sure that all the settings are correct before beginning the scan. If your scanner software allows you to do a preview of the scanned image we suggest that you use this option. When all the settings are correct start to scan the image.

When the image has been scanned the Scanning Wizard will take control of the scanned image. You will see a preview of the scanned image in the Scanning Wizard, (see example above). You will also see the size of the file; the size will vary according to the file type which you choose from the drop list.
